Port of Call - Bermuda 2

More pictures from the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo.  This about the closest thing to fish tank I'll ever get. You are not going to spend the whole day here and that's just fine. Enough to keep the kids happy and engaged and you are out of there before they lose it and in turn you lose it.  If you are on a cruise then you will be back long before the first dinner seating and with plenty of time to change into your evening attire.

This picture is taken from the zoo overlooking the water.  Bermuda is simply beautiful and the water is clear and inviting.  I could imagine myself sitting along the water and just watching the water and the occasional small boat float on by.

Cruise Vacation - Port of Call, Bermuda

One of my favorite travel destinations is Bermuda.  Whether I'm flying and staying a week or cruising and staying for a night or two Bermuda gives me a lot of what I am looking for in a vacation. When my wife and I honeymooned in Bermuda, more than 30 years we came across this beautiful and serene spot directly opposite the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo.  The picture here, is taken at almost the exact spot and with the exception of some new construction in the background, the area is the same.

We liked this picture so much, from our honeymoon, my mother-in-law painted a large version which still hangs in our dining room today.

This picture of the Flamingos was taken, of course at the Zoo.  This was most certainly worth the trip.  More pictures to follow.

On A Cruise, Don't Rock The Boat (I know it's a ship)

On board Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas during a bit of rough waters.  It's hard to get a feel of how choppy the seas are when you are eleven stories up but this video gets pretty close. I have to admit that it was very cool to watch. Eventually staff did close access to the pool even though nobody was going to chance getting into it at this time.  Maybe later in the day when more people had time to drink, someone would have tried to ride the waves, LOL  Enjoy the 2 minute video from my channel.  As a side note, the patch the doctor prescribed for motion sickness worked like a charm.

A Fun Cruise Tip

Here's a cruise tip I'm sure you can appreciate. Apparently if you snore loud enough you can get the entire deck to yourself.  A little fun as I get this blog/journal relaunched.

Welcome to my blog.  Admittedly this is my second attempt at a cruise lovers blog or journal. This is not really a blog in the true definition since much is historical. Besides my family and friends I do love to cruise.  These posts are devoted to my travel vacation experiences.  Tips, tricks, shortcuts and help along with sharing some great memories.  Of course there will be plenty of pictures.  I do hope you enjoy the trip.
